HAWKER HARRIER II Retrograde Chrono AV-4056-03

The case is Solid 316 L stainless steel that has been forged, machined, drilled and assembled with an anti-reflective sapphire coated mineral lens for durability and visibility. On the underside of the watch a jet turbine carved caseback makes clear the leitmotif of the 4056.

With an anodized aluminium chronograph pusher and matching detail on the crown the strong circular lines of the case are complemented with appropriate yet bold detailing. Measuring 43mm in diameter the case fits snug thanks to carefully articulated polished lugs, which hug the case to the wrist.

Inside the case lies the precise Japanese made chronograph retrograde movement that shows day, date, seconds, minute and 30m readout. Perfectly balanced series of hands, circular discs and registers are all precisely weighted to offer clear cut information at an instant while never compromising on the time reading functionality. The hour and minute hands are sword shaped in a classic aviation style proportion, keeping with the watches generally modern feel.

Crowning this symphony of lines underneath the lens, the chronograph seconds hand is arrow shaped in a harmonious bi-color execution again hinting at the watches aeronautical influence.
